Two PhD positions in Cosmic Dust (Supernovae & Micrometeorites) research

Two open PhD positions are available as part of the ERC funded project NoSHADE (Novel perspectives on our Solar System History recorded in the Atacama Desert) at the Museum für Naturkunde (Natural History Museum) in Berlin, Germany. The successful candidates will work on (1) the detection of Supernova isotopes or (2) the identification of major dust-producing events within our Solar system – both by analysing time-resolved sedimentary records from the Atacama Desert. Exciting field work awaits!
